That same question must be answered by all of us. Who do we say that He is??

Can you say that the orange you see is different than the one you taste?

Well, if it is plastic fruit, you may discern at the first bite.

Is it more what is inside than what it appears on the outside?

Can you separate from who Jesus is ...from what He says??

I don't always say what I really mean, and I often want to take back what I say ...yet, that is not the case with God, or His Son.

A calculator can be very useful if the teacher permits you to use it to do Math. But, what if you had an idea of what the answer should be ...and you get something quite different than you expected?

Likely, you would re-enter the numbers ...and try again.

If you still got an answer that didn't seem quite right, you might try something you definitely know the answer to ...like two plus two.

If the answer doesn't come up ...four, then you may conclude that the calculator is on the blitz.  And you wouldn't be able to trust any of the answers anymore.

Have we been programmed wrong??  Can we give the right answers, or can we not be trusted anymore??

If my calculator is a bit off ...then what should I do??

I use my brain, that God gave me ...you plus you, equals more.

And if I want more, this is, more meaning in life ...yes, I can go to what I always know works ...the Bible.

I can't separate what it says from what I believe ...because it is the source of my belief.  That does not mean that many of us who read it always agree on what it says, but I will not change the wording to suffice what I want it to say.

Yes, there are many books that say different things ...and I didn't always believe blindly what the Bible said.  But, just like the blindness of Saul was lifted, revealing the truth to him, so this apostle Paul could in turn share with us ...likewise, yet not in so dramatic fashion, the Holy Spirit led me to the truth.

Yet, let it be known that the Holy Spirit of God has never led me to veer away from the Bible, but only toward it and the joy of understanding it.
